How to pick
If you only ever use ChatGPT, only need PDF, and don’t care about formatting fidelity, SaveGPT or Chrome Print will do. If you’re a developer who only uses ChatGPT and prefers fully open-source, ChatGPT Exporter is a fine pick.
If you spend a lot of time in Zoom / Meet / Teams meetings and want auto-transcripts and AI summaries of those meetings, Tactiq is the right tool — it’s a different job entirely.
If you use more than ChatGPT (Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Copilot, Kimi, Qwen, etc.), care about formatting fidelity (LaTeX, code, tables), want Notion sync, want to export entire projects, or care about how your conversation archive will look six months from now — ChatExport AI is the right choice. That’s what it was built for.
Run more than one
None of these tools conflict on the toolbar or the page. Many people install ChatExport AI alongside Tactiq (different jobs). Or alongside ChatGPT Exporter (one for habit, one for backup). It’s fine.
